EXCURSION INCOTEC & GENERAL ASSEMBLY NWGD on 26 March 2024

Incotec is a seed enhancement company with the mission to improve the performance and resilience of agricultural seeds through seed technology. This leads to better crop results. Different technologies are used to improve seed performance such as coating, pelleting, priming, encrusting, etc. In combination with these steps, drying of seeds is conducted being also crucial to preserve seed quality during storage time. During this morning, Incotec will present its expertise in advanced seed technologies offering a tour through their facilities.

In addition, Julia Veser from Wageningen University & Research will give a presentation on her PhD research focusing on drying of vegetable seeds towards high quality.

At the end of the morning participants will be offered a lunch during which also the general assembly of NWGD will be held.

The event will take place on Tuesday 26 March from 10-13 hrs.
We have a maximum capacity of 40 attendees and admission is free for NWGD members.
